Key terms from the proposed membership program.
Who can become a member?
Independent practitioners and businesses in experiential marketing, events, public art, fabrication, design, installation, and related creative production. The initial pilot focuses on Austin and Central Texas. Proposed entry requires 12 months of relevant activity or three completed projects, two professional references, and a review of reliability, conduct, and contribution. A mentored entry route is proposed for newer practitioners.
How are dues used?
The proposed monthly allocation is 50% member assistance, 20% stability reserve, 20% operations, and 10% learning and community. Dues are not an individual savings balance, investment, or guaranteed payout. The proposed member milestone rewards would be budgeted into dues; reward costs and fulfillment will be finalized before launch.
What is expected of members?
Members follow the standards above and make two useful contributions each membership year. These can include mentoring, sharing knowledge or resources, making introductions, or community support. Commercial production work is separately agreed and paid; membership does not require free labor.
How would financial assistance work?
Assistance would be discretionary, based on need, eligibility, approval, and available funds. The proposed individual waiting period is at least 180 active days and six paid monthly installments. The assistance program opens only after the required legal review, membership minimum, and funding thresholds are met. The proposed maximum is $2,500 in a rolling year, not a promised benefit. Joining does not guarantee money, jobs, crews, or equipment.
Can I cancel?
Under the proposed rules, members can cancel before the next renewal with no future dues commitment. Access continues through the paid month. Unused whole prepaid months are refundable. There is no application or initiation fee.
When does the program begin?
A launch date has not been set. The operating model and final terms must be adopted before membership begins. Joining the founding list allows Loyalty Dept. to contact you about next steps; it does not guarantee acceptance.
